Maintenance
GenServe provides maintenance for all makes and models of generators, fire pump engines, and automatic transfer switches. We conduct a full inspection as part of our routine contract maintenance including
- Visual inspection of parts for excessive heat damage, cracks, moisture, connections
- Manual operations check for binding and lubrication
- Voltage testing
- Time delays
- Accessory testing
GenServe will also maintain and repair your load banks.
Testing
You want to be certain your generator is always ready when you need it. Routine testing of load capacity and fluids is the best way to ensure you are always prepared for an emergency.
GenServe is fully equipped to load bank test your generator from 1KW to 2000KW at various voltages. This test will let you know if your generator is capable of handling the load it’s load rated for. It also helps diagnose any fuel problem, overheating problem or voltage problem.
GenServe will sample and test your oil and coolant during an annual service call using an independent fluid analysis company. The analysis will tell us the condition of your oil and coolant and if any corrective action needs to be taken. Upon request, we can also sample your diesel fuel and get a report on the condition of your fuel. There are two levels of fuel analysis.
Emergency Services
GenServe can provides emergency service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year with response times usually less than two hours. When you call GenServe, our 24/7 operator will connect you with our emergency dispatch coordinator, who will document all of your information and make sure you get the emergency assistance you need. If you need a technician on site, we'll get one there usually within two hours or less. Because we evaluate the issues you are having prior to sending out a technician, we can make sure the technician brings all possible parts needed to make your repairs. If we are not able to repair your generator during this visit because parts are not readily available, we can supply and install a portable generator to restore your power in the interim. We have our own fleet of rental generators, as well as multiple alliances with large rental companies.
GenServe has 45 technicians with fully stocked vans, which they take home every day. This allows us to provide unsurpassed response times during emergency situations.

Installations
GenServe can provide you with direct generator replacements where we will remove your old existing generator and replace it with a new one. We also have alliances with multiple contractors to provide you with new turn-key installations, including an electrical study, drawings, permits, etc.
Rentals
GenServe can provide you with a portable back-up generator from 50KW to 2500KW at a moments notice. In addition to having our own rental units, GenServe has alliances with multiple large generator rental providers at negotiated prices, so we can provide you with the best possible price.
Co-Generation
Your GenServe representative can provide you with a comprehensive maintenance plan for your Co-Generation Plant. GenServe currently maintains several Co-Generation plants in the Metropolitan area.
